Future Plans

Hello hello!

Lately I haven't been super active on here, and I'm going to share why. I'm also going to catch you up on my life and let you know what some of my future plans are.

I've been running this blog since 2016, and my amount of readers, as well as my following on Instagram, has grown so much since then. I am so grateful for this growth, and for discovering the sexual and mental health community on the internet. This blog has helped me educate the folks around me, and people from all over the world, and it has also helped me heal. Writing about my endometriosis, mental illness, trauma, and sexuality has helped me so much in my healing practices. This blog has served as my personal journal, my resource compendium, and an educational tool for several workshops and things I've facilitated.

Now, I am at a crossroads in life. In about a week, I will be done with my senior thesis. In about a month, I will graduate college and get my degree. I have been applying to some jobs, looking at cars and apartments, you know... adult stuff. It's super exciting, but also so scary! I have some amazing job prospects in different places, and am considering pursuing a doula training and a yoga teacher training. I'm also looking at several jobs in human service corps, clinics, and outreach programs.

I will be graduating with my degree in public health, and I look forward to sharing with you all what I will be doing for work in the coming weeks. I can promise, however, that the blog will live on no matter what I end up doing! I love having it as my little side hustle. And, exciting news!! One of my best friends is coding me a brand new website, so hopefully, once that's done, The Pink Zone will exist in a more professional capacity. Other projects in the works include a Youtube channel and improving the podcast (I am already doing ThePinkZone.fm as a podcast).

For now, I just can't wait to be done with my thesis so that I can relax and enjoy the springtime. I plan on wearing plenty of cute clothes, taking lots of pictures, eating lots of snacks, and soaking up my freedom.
