Hey bbs, I had a crappy day so I thought I'd share my weekly self-pampering routine with you guys since I kinda need it right now. I usually do this on Sundays when I have a lot of free time!
~~~General~~~
Wake up early
Drink hot cups of tea all day - green, black, chamomile
Eat fruits and veggies
Take vitamins
Take a nap if a nap seems appealing
Clean my room
Journal, collage or draw
Make sure all homework is done for the next few days
Review what’s going on this week
Laundry all done? Bed made?
Eat a healthy dinner
Make a body scrub for yourself
Call mom
Make sure I have groceries for the week
Dishes done
Living room straightened up
~~~Face~~~
Cleanse face using a face wash
Tone skin, using ACV (apple cider vinegar) or actual toner
Face mask
Rinse face mask off
scrub
Steam face
Pore strip
Treat any acne
Eye treatments
Lip scrub
~~~Body~~~
Shave legs, armpits, bikini area
Exfoliate
Oil lashes and brows
Pluck any brow strays
Ped-egg the calluses off my feet
Put a lot of moisturizer or oil on my feet and then put socks on
Go for a long walk
Do some stretches
Massage my feet
Soak in the tub for a long time
Sing a song
Play guitar
Have a dance party
~~~Hair~~~
Hair mask
Scalp massage with oil
Long bath while hair mask is in, then shower and do body stuff
Apple cider vinegar hair rinse
Shampoo, condition
Blow dry
Trim any split ends
~~~Nails~~~
Unless I have a gel mani on my nails… (if so do this after two weeks of gel, not one. Gel lasts longer.)
Apply oil to protect skin from acetone
Remove polish using acetone
Clean out undersides of the nails with a tool
File nails
Repair any tears or breaks with glue
Wash hands
scrub with a salt or sugar scrub
Soak nails in warm olive oil or coconut oil for 20 minutes
Push cuticles back with tool
Use clippers to remove excess dead skin
Wash olive oil off skin and nails
Pat hands dry
Apply nail oil and leave nails naked to soak it up for like half an hour
Apply a nail strengthening base coat
Paint nails the color of choice, wrap tip
Let dry for 15
Second coat
Top coat
Clean up any mistakes
Dry for an hour
