You will need:
- 1/2 cup chia seeds
- 2 tablespoons of turmeric
- 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder
- 1 tablespoon honey or agave
- 3 tablespoons raw cacao powder
- 1 cup almond milk or other non-dairy milk
- 1 cup fresh spinach (gotta sneak those greens in)
- 1/2 cup water
- A few ice cubes
- Cacao nibs (optional)
- 1 banana
I came up with this recipe when I was researching anti-inflammatory foods (and chia seeds were on sale at ALDI 😉)! It's super yummy and makes a great breakfast (or even dessert if you had a light dinner!) Just pop all the ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth.
