This is one of my favorite recipes, and I tinkered with it for a while. I absolutely love it for the fall and winter season. Here's my recipe!
This is one of my favorite recipes, and I tinkered with it for a while. I absolutely love it for the fall and winter season. Here's my recipe!- one tsp cinnamon
- one tsp nutmeg
- one tsp vanilla extract
- a healthy dollop of melted coconut oil
- half a cup of sugar (I like to use brown sugar, but any granulated sugar would work)
- a pinch of ground cloves
- if you have any pumpkin pie spice laying around (I do, because I put it in my coffee) then you can put a tsp of that
- a sprinkle of himalayan pink salt
- some grapeseed oil (add this is the mixture is too thick)
Now, just let the mixture set until it forms a sort of paste consistency, keep it in the shower, use it after you wash up with soap, and enjoy silky smooth skin! No need for lotion! Be careful, though -- it makes your tub a little slippery. Also rinse thoroughly because it can leave some bits of cinnamon and nutmeg on your skin.
